Highly Experienced and Qualified

We know that every child is unique and deserves a unique education. Our highly qualified teachers and staff guide the way for your child to become independent while making good choices. We strive to ensure that your children will be introduced to every aspect of learning in their formative years, so they're prepared for the future.

We are extremely proud of our excellent staff of teachers, directors and support staff. We require on-going training for our staff through state classes, orientation videos, in-house training, and other certified professionals in the education field. All of our staff is trained in First Aid and CPR. We take great pride and responsibility to keep safe, educate and nurture the children within our care.



 

Director of Operations- Shere' Cooper
Shere' Cooper has been in the Early Childhood Education field for over 11 years. Since joining Pride and Joy in 2013 her sole purpose has been to foster an enriched learning environment tailored to the needs of each child. At Pride and Joy, she oversees the majority of operations of business, accounting, and HR, amongst other duties.

Shere' holds a Bachelor's degree in Finance from Georgia State University and a Master's Degree in Accounting from Keller Graduate School of Business. She is holds her CDA, Director's certification and is a Certified Bookkeeper.

Outside of her professional commitments, Shere' cherishes time spent with her husband and three children, and she enjoys reading, singing, baking and working on the Youth Ministry at her church.


Nutrition Specialist/Cook (Morrow) - Jacinta Price
With over 19 years of experience in childcare and a passion for creating delicious, home-cooked meals, Jacinta brings heart and expertise to every endeavor. For the past 7+ years, she has served as the cook at Pride and Joy Learning Academy, ensuring children receive nutritious meals that fuel their growth and learning.

In addition to her role in childcare, Jacinta is the proud owner of Jaci’s Catering, where she channels her love for cooking into preparing flavorful, personalized dishes for a variety of events. Known for her warm personality and attention to detail, Jacinta takes pride in crafting meals that bring people together.

A proud mother of three and grandmother of four, Jacinta treasures family and the joy that comes with gathering around a table of good food. Outside of work, she enjoys experimenting with recipes and sharing her culinary creations with loved ones.

 GA Pre-K Teacher- Carmaletta Oliver
My name is Carmaleta Oliver, and I take great pride in my role as an assistant teacher. I have been with Pride and Joy for 12 years, and my love for teaching children continues to grow.

I hold an Associate's degree in Science, along with my Child Development Associate credential. Teaching is truly my passion. I was honored to be named Teacher of the Year for 2023-2024, which I consider a tremendous privilege.
